Tour de Bowness is the largest event of the summer in the community, combining high-speed cycling races with a full street festival atmosphere. The race features a closed-loop course through the neighbourhood, drawing both competitive cyclists and enthusiastic crowds.
Off the course, visitors can enjoy food trucks, artisan vendors, live music, and family-friendly entertainment.
Registration:
- Cyclists must register in advance (online, typically opens months ahead)
- Spectators attend for free
- Vendor applications are usually required ahead of time
Road closures are in effect during the event, so walking or biking to the area is recommended.
