Every June, runners and families gather for Run Bowness, one of the neighbourhood’s most active and welcoming events. Participants can choose from multiple race distances, including shorter kids’ runs and longer recreational routes.
The race takes place along local pathways, making it easy for spectators to cheer from multiple vantage points.
Registration:
- Required for all race participants
- Online registration opens in early spring
- Typical fees:
- Kids race: ~$15–$25
- Adult races: ~$30–$60
- Spectators attend for free
Participants are encouraged to register early, as spots can fill quickly. Race kits are usually available for pickup a few days before the event.
